President Obama: “We Will Degrade and Ultimately Destroy ISIL”

In an address from the State Floor of the White House, President Obama spoke to the nation tonight about ISIL -- and our comprehensive strategy to degrade and ultimately destroy the terrorist group.
The President reiterated that as Commander-in-Chief, his “highest priority is the security of the American people,” and noted that we have “consistently taken the fight to terrorists” that threaten the United States

 التقى القنصل العام مايكل راتني بمجموعة من المتطوعين الشباب من ضمن مشروع "ستيب" التابع لمؤسسة شباب الغد في نابلس والذي يوفر تدريب في مجال التوظيف والدخول الى سوق العمل للطلاب الفلسطينيين. ناقش المتطوعون مع القنصل العام طرق تحسين فرص الشباب للحصول على العمل والتحديات التي تواجههم عند التوظيف والتعليم وتطوير حياتهم. هل تريدون ان تكونوا جزءا من هذا المشروع؟ اعملوا شير مع اصدقائكم وارسلوا ارائكم في تعليق.

On September 10, Consul General Michael Ratney met with young Palestinian volunteers from the Tomorrow Youth Organization’s STEP project, which provides employment training for young Palestinian students in Nablus.  للسنة الثانية على التوالى، انهى وفد علمي شبابي فلسطيني زيارته لامريكا من ضمن برنامج النيزك لريادة العلوم والتكنولوجيا #STEP_2014.
بعد عشرة أيام من المغامرات العلمية الامريكية عاد ستة طلاب فلسطينيين ممن فازوا في مسابقة STEP 2014 الممولة من القنصلية الامريكية العامة في القدس، عادوا يحملون القصص الشيقة من ناسا، ومن متحف السميثسونيان، وجامعة ميريلاند ومختبر الروبوتات الامريكي. خلال اقامتهم في أمريكا، قدم الطلاب العديد من المشاريع والافكار والاختراعات لمجموعة كبيرة من الجمهور في المتاحف والخبراء العلميين.

For the second year, a young Palestinian scientific delegation concluded a visit to the U.S., as part of Al-Nayzak’s science and
technology entrepreneurship program, #STEP_2014

After 10 days of pure American scientific adventure, six Palestinian students and winners of the U.S. Consulate General sponsored STEP 2014 science competition came back with a number of stories from NASA, the Smithsonian Museum, Maryland University and American Robotics labs. During their time in the U.S., the students presented their projects and inventions to a large audience of museum visitors and experts.  http://www.alnayzak.org

 بتاريخ ٢١ اب زار فريق من البيت الامريكي في القدس مكتبة الزاوية الامريكية في اريحا وساعدوا مجموعة من الطلاب الفلسطينيين على رسم لوحات جدارية على جدران المكتبة. شاهدوا صورة التقطها رئيس مكتب الدبلوماسية العامة ريتشارد بوانجان لاحدى اللوحات.
